Heat activated archwire made from an advanced nickel titanium alloy. Once placed, the wire reacts to heat in the patient's mouth and exerts a light, continuous force as it returns to its original shape. Ideal for early to mid stage treatment with moderate to severe crowding because it is easy to engage. Utilises shape memory and super elastic properties to move teeth. Resistant to permanent set (deformation). Wire is slightly thermal at room temperature and is responsive to chilling for easy ligation. Etched midline: upper - 3 black marks, lower - 1 black mark. Temperature Transition Range (TTR): 65-75?F (18.3-23.9?C).
