Description
Dedicated instrument for assisting in determining the occlusal plane. The intraoral feature of the instrument is placed on the occlusal surface of the record rim and the extraoral part indicates to the operator the relationship of the occlusal plane to the facial guidelines. Occlusal rim can be adjusted both laterally and in the antero-posterior direction, ensuring the occlusal plane is correct. Avoids unnecessary retries and produces prosthesis with the correct orientation of the occlusal planes. can also be used at the 'try in' and the 'fit stage' in order to confirm that the recordings have been reproduced accurately.
